Stephen Sleeper

Stephen has been performing with musical groups, churches and local bands in the Sacramento area for 15+ years; playing piano, acoustic and electric guitar, bass, saxophone, and singing. In 2018, he graduated from California Baptist University with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Composition with a concentration in Voice and Recording Arts. During his college career in Southern California, he was part of groups such as the University Choir & Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band, Chorale Union, Chamber Singers, Pep Band, a traveling show choir group, and the Goode Time Carollers who were hired by Disneyland Resort. Along with being an instructor at Music Lab, Stephen also works for the Folsom Cordova Unified School District as an Elementary School Music Teacher, teaching general music, flute, clarinet, trumpet, and trombone. Stephen specializes in voice, music theory, and songwriting as well as instruction in genres including pop, rock, alternative, classical, and contemporary christian. He has a passion for making music fun and alive for students of all ages as well as establishing strong foundations in technique and theory knowledge.
Stephen uses various guitars and keyboard setups when playing live.
